Empty pots, trays and delivery packaging can quickly pile up at the end of a planting project. Trecycle makes it easier to clear the site and give those materials another life.
We collect the packaging from your planting projects for reuse or recycling, helping reduce the amount sent to landfill—typically materials such as black plastic pots can be difficult to recycle through regular recycling collections.
Free for trehayne customers
Collection of packaging from plants purchased through Trehayne is free, by arrangement. Wherever possible, we coordinate collections with planned deliveries to avoid unnecessary journeys.
If your plants came from another supplier and your site is in East Anglia, we can still help. Send us a photograph, an idea of the quantity and the collection address, and we’ll provide a quotation.

We reuse as many suitable pots and trays as possible and work with local recyclers to recycle plastics that cannot be reused.
Pots and trays don’t need to be spotless—a small amount of residual compost is fine. Stack similar sizes together and pack them together in aggregate bags, or wooden crates. Keep other packaging separate from the pots and trays.

If Trehayne charged you for crates or pallets, those returned in a condition suitable for reuse or repair will receive an account credit for the original packaging charge, to be deducted from your next order.
We can also collect crates and pallets supplied by other companies, although these won’t qualify for account credit.
